Why Glendon Alpacas

Glendon is well situated   in north Northamptonshire just off the A14 near Kettering.

Here at Glendon we have eight years experience in breeding alpacas. Starting with three pregnant females we are now running 45 alpacas, all huacaya. We have a variety of alpacas for sale and can provide a whole range of services to new alpaca owners. We have coloured home bred studs and a bought in stud of Accoyo pedigree to add density to the fleeces

Together with our own experiences, our involvement in the wider alpaca community – including a spell as a director of the BAS and editor of the society magazine – provides us with the knowledge to handle most situations.   That said we are always looking for ways to improve in our management practices.

Our interest in these animals is mainly for our own enjoyment and interest. Unfortunately the financial aspects cannot be ignored but we like to think that our prices are fair.
